Winridge Manor was the first venue we toured, and we knew immediately we wanted it to be there and cancelled the rest of our scheduled tours. The property is beautiful and secluded, the house is stunning inside in out, and everything is so beautifully maintained. So much love and care has gone into this place and it is evident.
The package we got had everything we needed and more. I am so thankful for Racine streamlining this process, she has everything laid out and is so proactive, she made everything so much more enjoyable, and we are so grateful for her guidance. She made our wedding so smooth and unforgettable, along with the workers of the venue. Something that we really loved was not having to be there the morning of the wedding to set everything up, that saved me so much stress, and they executed our vision perfectly.

My husband and I got married at Winridge Manor and our wedding was a dream. First off, Racine is a pleasure to work with. She communicates clearly and proactively and is well organized, which is SO important for a wedding planner. On the days leading up to the wedding she went above and beyond. As I was dealing with being physically ill due to nerves leading up to the wedding, she was emotionally comforting and went our of her way to help me feel at peace. Day of the wedding, when my nerves were highest, I could see that she had everything under control so that I was able to relax and enjoy the day. (So I would highly recommend working with her for any severely anxious bride/groom that needs someone who can hold your hand through the whole process!) The venue was BEAUTIFUL. We were able to hold our rehearsal dinner and wedding both at the manor and our family and friends were very impressed, very comfortable, and had a blast. It was so peaceful with the beauty of the grounds and surrounding nature. Our wedding party stayed at the manor for the weekend and I can’t say enough how comfortable the rooms were. Being from out of town, Racine was also able to hook us up with local businesses for hair and makeup/ DJ/ bartenders/ florist/ etc, which was extremely helpful. My husband and I both work full time so neither of us were able to put a significant amount of time into wedding planning, but with Racine, we did not have to. I’m writing this review pretty late since a lot of “life” happened right after our wedding, but my husband and I still say to each other all the time, “I wish we could go back to that day!!”.
You have to come and stay at this beautiful manor! The hostess goes above and beyond with making you feel extremely comfortable from the moment that you walk in! The property is absolutely gorgeous! With porch swings, a beautiful gazebo that is lit up at night, and so much more!! It’s a wonderful place to get beautiful pictures as a couple. You can sit out on a beautiful balcony and watch the sun rise and set each day! They also do weddings here which would be perfect for any couple!
My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding and it was so perfect! We stayed there again on our 2 year anniversary and Racine was so warm and welcoming to us! With a complimentary bottle of champagne and flexibility with checking in, she made our experience wonderful! The whispering woods room is dreamy and provides such a serene and relaxing experience.
A thoroughly lovely place to stay! It was like taking a walk into the past, but with modern conveniences! We enjoyed the beautiful grounds and the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
