Our History

Winridge Manor was built in 1910 in the Southern Greek Revival style by the owner of the Piedmont Motor Company. The house was literally grown from its land: many of the trees used in its construction were harvested from the property itself. Over the decades the manor stood as a private home, a place for family events, and, eventually, as a gracious site for public celebrations.
That long history matters. It shows in the broad verandas, the white pillars that greet the morning light, and the sense of continuity that comes from a structure carefully preserved.
